Afterpay allows you to make purchases on our website and pay for them in four interest-free installments（for order price between $1 - $2000), giving you the freedom to enjoy your products immediately while managing your budget effectively. Sezzle allows you to make purchases on our website and pay for them in four interest-free installments（for order price between $35 - $2500).

Katapult has lease purchase plans designed just for you — and there’s no credit required. Plus, we keep the experience simple and transparent. It's your path from "maybe" to "all mine."


Eligibility:
Afterpay is available to customers who are at least 18 years old, a resident of the U.S.and have a valid payment method.Customers must have a billing address in the USA.
How Afterpay Works:

When you choose Afterpay as your payment option at checkout, your purchase amount will be divided into four equal installments.
The first installment is due at the time of purchase, while the remaining three installments are automatically scheduled every two weeks.

Afterpay offers a specific payment plan for customers that allows them to pay for their purchases in four interest-free installments. The payment plan is as follows:

First Installment: The first installment is due at the time of purchase. It typically represents 25% of the total order value, including any applicable taxes or fees.

Subsequent Installments: The remaining three installments are automatically scheduled every two weeks following the purchase. Each installment is also 25% of the total order value.

It's important to note that the payment plan is fixed and follows this four-installment structure. Customers cannot modify the number of installments or the payment frequency.

Price range &Installment interest 

If a product is between $1 - $2000, you're able to Pay in 4 interest-free installments.
If a product is between $400 - $4000, you're able to pay in monthly installments of either 6 or 12 months with interest. The interest (APR) is unique to each customer and is based on things like repayment history, etc.
If a product is between $400 - $2000, you will see both Pay in 4 and monthly payments at checkout and you can choose which route you want to take.
Pay in 4 and monthly payments are fixed - Pay in 4 is always 25% at checkout, and then 25% every 2 weeks. Monthly payments are divided evenly into monthly payments of either 6 or 12 months. $0 down at checkout, and then monthly payments every month after that.

you have the option to pay their installments ahead of time if they'd like - you can do that in the app.

You will need to create an Afterpay account or log in to your existing account to complete the payment process.
Approval Process:

Afterpay performs a quick eligibility check during the checkout process to determine whether you qualify for their service.
This check includes verifying your payment history and considering factors such as the order value, account information, and transaction history.
If your Afterpay request is declined, we encourage you to choose an alternative payment method.
Payment Schedule and Notifications:

Afterpay sends you a payment schedule outlining the due dates for each installment.
You will receive notifications via email or the Afterpay mobile app to remind you of upcoming payments.
It is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available in your nominated payment method to cover each installment.
Late Payments and Fees:

If payment is not made on the scheduled due date, Afterpay may charge a late fee. Please refer to Afterpay's terms and conditions for more details.
Afterpay may also limit or restrict your ability to use their service if you have outstanding payments or repeatedly fail to meet payment obligations.

You can change the due date of a payment yourself via the afterpay mobile app or website! 

Via the Afterpay App: 

  • 1. Log in to your Afterpay App
  • 2. Select the “My Afterpay” tab in the bottom right corner of your screen
  • 3. Select the “Orders” tab
  • 4. Select the payment that you wish to change
  • 5. Select “More” in the top right of your screen
  • 6. Select “Change next payment date”
  • 7. Select your preferred date (within the next 7 days) and confirm 

Via the Afterpay website: 

  • 1. Log in to your account via the Afterpay website
  • 2. Click the “Upcoming Payments” tab
  • 3. Select the payment that you wish to change 
  • 4. Click “Change next payment date”
  • 5. Select your preferred date (within the next 7 days) and confirm

Important to note: 

Some payments cannot be changed. If the option is not available, you will see a message on screen that says  "Uh oh! This payment date can’t be changed"

Reasons why:

  • You can only move one payment per order, if you need more help, please send us a message via the mobile app
  • You will not be able to reschedule the first or last payments via this self-service feature, if you require help with this, please send us a message via the mobile app
  • If a payment is already overdue or due within the next 24 hours, we cannot move the payment (neither our team or by using the self-service feature)
  • Brand new customers (less than 42 days since your first purchase) will not be able to use this feature
  • If you are already under a hardship repayment arrangement with afterpay, you will not have access to this feature

Monthly Payment Orders

At this time, afterpay is unable to change the due date since the due date is fixed for the life of the loan. We do understand that times may be difficult and we are here to help. If hardship assistance is needed, please contact afterpay service help your earliest convenience. Please note that any payment made after the due date may affect how much you can spend with Afterpay for future Pay-in-4 and Monthly Payment orders.
Which cards does afterpay accepts?

Afterpay accept credit and debit cards from Amex, Mastercard, and Visa which were issued in U.S. Afterpay also accept digital forms of payment such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Pre-paid cards cannot be stored in your account, but you can use them to make one off payments!

Afterpay do not accept foreign issued cards for overseas banks or cards issued by Buy Now Pay Later providers such as Zip Card or Humm card.

Please note that afterpay cannot accept payments by bank transfer.

Returns and Refunds:

Our standard return and refund policy applies to all purchases made with Afterpay.
If you request a refund for a product, the refunded amount will be adjusted to reflect the installment paid and any subsequent installments that have been made.
